Why We Chose a Different Path
We wanted to share why we’re honoring our dad, Bryant, in a way that gives everyone time and space. When he passed away on August 25, 2025, we—his children—made a decision together. Instead of a traditional funeral or wake right away, we respected his wish for a private cremation with just a small circle: his girlfriend, his sister, and us, his kids.
But we also knew that many of Dad’s family and friends are still in the Northeast, while he lived his final years in Atlanta. We wanted to make it easier for everyone to join us in celebrating his life. That’s why we decided to hold a larger memorial exactly one year later—on August 25, 2026—in Providence, Rhode Island, a place that meant so much to him.
By choosing this date, we hope to give everyone who loved him a chance to plan ahead, to join us without rush, and to remember him together in the place where his story began. We’ll be laying some of his ashes to rest there, as he wished.
If you’d like to stay updated on the details, please feel free to share your email with us at the bottom of this page. We’ll keep you posted as we get closer to next August. Until then, know that we’re grateful for your support and that we look forward to honoring Bryant’s memory, together.
